Who Are You?

My name is Jade and I am PA to the Landscape Team at Lockhart Garratt.  I have been with the team since March 2019 after re-locating to Corby.

I previously worked for the Civil Service for nearly 13 years covering various roles including Paralegal Assistant and have also worked for my families Removal Company as Business Administrator.

What do you do?

I provide all administrative and project support to the Landscape Team including to the Business Unit Manager. I also provide support to the other members of the Support Team where necessary. I am a member of the Systems Team and have also been assisting with the roll out of Microsoft Teams across the group making sure everyone knows how to use Teams effectively and providing top tips.

I am also a Fire Marshall and a First Aider for the Corby Office.

What projects have you found particularly interesting to be involved with?

Since starting with Lockhart Garratt, I have been training myself and working in photoshop to develop a new set of skills, by doing this I now provide support for the Landscape team in assisting to prepare viewpoints from photographs that have been taken by consultants when on Site. I have enjoyed developing these skills and being able to provide an extra dimension to my support to the team.

What has been your favourite Lockhart Garratt moment to date?

There have been some great moments since joining Lockhart Garratt, but during lockdown 2020 there were lots of challenges for a lot of people, despite this, we were able to keep each other supported as a team, from lockdown quizzes to ‘Guess Who’ games, the support between everyone was amazing and feel privileged to work with such brilliant people.

What’s next?

For me, I want to push my photography and my photoshop skills even further, it is something I have discovered since joining Lockhart Garratt and want to see what the next steps are.

What are your interests and hobbies?

I love spending time with my nieces, who were the main reason for re-locating to Corby. I like to watch Rugby, Football & F1 and I also love to get into a good book. I recently got a new puppy called Rubble and do lots of walking whilst also finding opportunities for capturing photographs.
