Investors in People (IIP) is an internationally recognised accreditation held by over 14,000 organisations worldwide, with the sole aim to improve and recognise a higher standard of leadership, support and management of people in the workplace. The award promotes positive employers who are committed to creating sustainable places of work.
Having previously been awarded the Core Level IIP award Lockhart Garratt set a company objective within our business plan to work towards and achieve the next level of IIP accreditation and, following an assessment in early September, we are very happy to announce that we passed the assessment with 43 points over and above those required for the Bronze Level.
To achieve the Bronze level accreditation, Lockhart Garratt was assessed against the objectives set out in our business plan and a broad selection (75%) of staff, across all our service teams, was interviewed.
One of the core objectives of Investors in People is also to encourage companies and employers to continually improve their working practices. Therefore, the assessment also helped Lockhart Garratt to identify opportunities for focus to further improve our work practices, positively engage our employees and achieve our company goals going forward.
Lockhart Garratt are immensely proud to have been awarded the Bronze Investors In People accreditation and look forward to working towards the Silver level in the future.
