‘Making plans in a complex world’
This April we are delighted to welcome Stephen Kelly, Joint Director of Planning and Economic Development for South Cambridgeshire District Council, as our key speaker.
Stephen is a highly experienced, professional leader with a track record in managing the delivery of organisational improvement programmes, in parallel with regeneration and development outcomes.
Stephen’s topic will cover:
- Generating consensus around spatial planning in a time of change;
- From national priorities to local delivery – collaboration between Government and the Local Authorities; and
- The return of the environment – expectations from the new focus on landscape led growth, Natural Capital, Zero Carbon Futures, and Nett Environmental Gain.
There should also be the opportunity to discuss the implications of Brexit and the opportunities around the Oxford – Cambridge corridor.
This event is aimed at Planners, Developers, Housebuilders, Architects, Project Managers and Local Authorities.
We have 40 free places available, and these will be booked on a first come / first served basis. A reserve list will be maintained for those not initially successful.
