Following the preparation of the Government’s 25 Year Environment Plan, the Agriculture Bill and the Environmental Nett Gain consultation, the focus on the environment has never been greater.
This year we are delighted to hold our first Lockhart Garratt technical seminar which will seek to identify what this will mean for you and your business in the coming years, and help you to get on the ‘front foot’ to take advantage of the opportunities and steer around the challenges.
Our team of specialists and technical experts will be putting together a suite of short, to the point presentations that will bring you up to date on current thinking, developments and opportunities, and hopefully bust a few myths. There will be plenty of time for questions, discussions and professional networking.
We are also delighted to welcome Merrick Denton-Thompson, former President of the Landscape Institute as our key speaker. Merrick will be discussing ‘The Future of the Countryside’, tying in rural land management with environmental planning. Merrick will also discuss the Environmental Land Management (ELMS) and the Review of Protected Landscapes and the need for a review of the Green Belt.
